A: No, not right away! You can come practice with as little as good athletic shoes and a water bottle. Eventually, you'll need a mouth guard, cleats, and rugby shorts, but you're fine to start without.

A: Like any contact sport, it can be. However, our USA rugby-certified coaching staff and senior players teach the fundamentals of safe and secure play to reduce risk.

A: Practices are held on Walker Avenue Field, typically on weekday evenings. Check our schedule for updates.

A: While regular attendance is encouraged to build skills and teamwork, we understand if you have other commitments. Just communicate with the team captains and coaches.

A: We play against other collegiate teams in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC). We also welcome matches with new teams. If you're interested, reach out via Instagram or fill out our recruitment form.

A: Rugby positions are divided into forwards and backs. Forwards are typically stronger and involved in physical contests while backs are faster and focus on running and scoring. You'll find the best position for your skills during practice.
